Who is Trend Micro Supporting With Is $100m Fund?

Trendo Micro, a Japan based and a global leader in cybersecurity solutions, set a coporate venture fund with an investment of $100 million to further explore the emerging technology markets.

According to a company’s statement, the fund will allow Trend Micro to support startups at their initial idea phase and those who are living at the epicentre of hyper growth markets, such as the Internet of Things (IoT).

Eva Chen, Found and Chief Executive Officer at Trend Micro said: “Our vision has always been to make the world safe for exchanging digital information. The explosion of devices is transforming how the world works, thinks and acts. It is clear that the ecosystem is still evolving and there is work to do to ensure organisations and individuals can operate and live safely in this new reality.”
