One of the Big 4 companies, EY MENA, has announced the launch of EY Catalyst platform. The consultancy firm’s clients have been actively using its IP database across Europe, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, and the US for the past 20 years. The cloud-based platform serves as a performance improvement tool in the supply chain and manufacturing sectors.
Now, all the GCC clients of EY would have access to a detailed IP database containing numerous supply chain operational capabilities in several languages. According to Ahmed Reda, Mena Consumer Products and Retail Leader at EY, the platform would equip Arab businesses with valuable sources to help them increase sales and reduce risks.
They could also start an automated self-directed plan to monitor their activities and to track progress. Besides, the database also features self-assessments, tailor-made business excellence journey maps, training tools, and many other options to improve the company’s operational capacity. The platform also offers a possibility to track only one department within the organization and to measure its progress and downfalls.
At the moment, the EY catalyst only offers supply chain and manufacturing functions. However, the goal is to extend its content and to cover all the rest of the competencies of EY Advisory. In addition to that, EY and Procter & Gamble already signed an agreement to implement some manufacturing operational excellence tools developed by P&G. Both companies have been working together since 2013.
EY has been working hard to form exclusive partnerships with prominent companies during the past few years. As a result, the consultancy firm has signed more than 20 agreements with diverse businesses. By this, EY is constantly adding some new, innovative assets to its Advisory Services portfolio and continues working on its global presence.
