Spring of Culture is finally back in Bahrain in its 12th edition with many exciting events! On February 26, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) announced that Bahrain National Museum kicked off the events with the debut of Arabian “Antar-wa-Abla” operatic performance, as part of the Bahrain Authority of Culture and Antiquities (BACA)’s activities themed “Our Year of Archaeology 2017.”
The Spring of Culture Festival is being co-organised by Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), the Economic Development Board (EDB), Shaikh Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Centre for Culture and Research, in collaboration with Albareh Art Gallery, Al Riwaq Art Space, and La Fontaine Centre of Contemporary Art.; and, aims to promote “Muharraq the Capital of Islamic Culture 2018.”
