Dubai-based Sarwa, an automated advisory platform raised $1.3 million in funding from international and regional venture capitalist firms in the latest round of pre-Series A funding.
Sarwa saw investments from Shorooq Investments, Middle East Venture Partners, Hala Ventures, Women’s Angel Investor Network, and Saned Partners pouring in and wishes that with its new investments it will be able to accelerate growth and make its services more readily available to young professionals throughout the market. CEO and co-founder of Sarwa commented that “This round will allow us to continue leading the investment advisory space and reach even more people.”.
First launched in February, Sarwa was founded by Mark Chahwan, Jad Sayegh, and Nadine Mezher. Sarwa is a smart expert-level investment advisor startup which combines technology and human advice to create a digitized, user friendly investing experience and aims to guide people in investing his or her hard-earned money in some place profitable.
