Crowd Analyzer bags $1.3 million in a pre-series A round led by Wamda Capital

Dubai-based startup Crowd Analyzer just raised $1.1 million in a pre-series A round from venture capital firms based in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the UAE, led by Wamda Capital, followed by Arzan Capital, Faith Capital, and Raed VC.

Crowd Analyzer a data intelligence provider and Arabic-focused social media platform were founded in 2014 by Ahmed Saad and Bahaa Galal, where they entered the market commercially in 2016. The startup provides you with social media monitoring, analyzing content and conversation, and relevant data – all in Arabic. Crowd Analyzer used groundbreaking technology such as AI, Proprietary Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing to understand the Arabic dialect and provide the client with reliable and authentic data.

Bahaa Galal, CTO, and Co-founder of Crowd Analyzer stated that they use AI and Machine Learning as it enables them to better monitor social media and mine data, and at the same time it provides brands and organizations with the most up-to-date and relevant insights.

Ahmed Saad, CEO, and co-founder of Crowd Analyzer said: “For three years, Crowd Analyzer has delivered actionable intelligence and data enabling world-class companies in the region to harness the power of social media. As the only Arabic-focused social media monitoring platform, we offer our clients invaluable data that incorporates regional dialects, relevance and of course sentiment analysis. This latest round of funding will enable us to continue our growth in Saudi Arabia and allow us to explore further opportunities in the regional market.”
