CrediMax and Mastercard just launched a Masterpass service in Bahrain through integrating their service in the CrediMax Digital Wallet, also known as MaxWallet.
But what actually is a Masterpass? Well, to begin with, it’s a payment service from Mastercard which enables consumers to make fast, simple and secure digital payments anywhere you’d like to shop: online, in-app and in-store.
Yousif Ali Mirza, CrediMax Chief Executive said: ““The dual functionality of Masterpass and Masterpass QR in our MaxWallet service will enable our users to take advantage of a seamless payment experience, regardless of whether they are paying online, in-store or in-app – indicating the onset of a new era of digital payments in Bahrain.”
According to CrediMax, integrating Masterpass will enhance MaxWallet’s functionality, which at the moment allows users to pay in-store using Masterpass QR technology. Now with Masterpass, users are able to also use the digital wallet to make online purchases.
