Royal Ambassador, a Bahraini-based property, and facility management just announced plans to develop an all-new outdoor lifestyle and entertainment destination called “Juffair Square”, located in the heart of the capital Manama.

According to a statement made by the company, the $35 million Juffair Square is being developed by Kooheji Contractors and it is expected to be completed and opened in the first quarter of 2019. The project is also about providing an open-air experience to visitors. It’s going to e the perfect hub for people to gather, socialize and shop until they drop, the statement mentions.

The new project will be introducing innovative concepts in food and beverage and will also showcase leading fashion brands in addition to several entertainment and wellness outlets. Juffair Sqaure will also have green landscapes, entertainment zones and car parking spaces for more than 200 vehicles.

Jerad Bachar, the Executive Director (Investment Development Tourism, Real Estate, Education, and Healthcare) at Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) stated that the retail and entertainment sector was a key pillar of Bahrain’s tourism offering. “The EDB focuses on collaboration with developers and stakeholders to strengthen and diversify Bahrain’s tourism sector to cater to the country’s residents and the rapidly increasing number of visitors to the kingdom,” he said.
