Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, the Governor of Manama, has officially announced the starting date of 2017 Entrepreneurship Week. The event, organized along with Tamkeen and Ahli United Bank will take place between October 28 and November 2. The theme of the third edition will be “To Achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
The main aim of the event is to equip Bahraini youth with the necessary skills and abilities to start their own business and work towards Kingdom’s well-being. Many prominent lecturers and industry insiders will join the initiative to give workshops and seminars. The previous two editions of the Entrepreneurship Week have gained a lot of popularity. As many as 5,000 Bahraini young people attended to boost their potential and expand their network.
Noora Al Haddad, the CEO of Creo Innovative Solutions, which would be in charge of organizing the event, was also present during the official opening announcement.
Shaikh Hisham highlighted the efforts the Capital Governorate has made to work towards the economic development of the Kingdom and the support of the national agenda for economic diversification. So far, Shaikh Hisham’s Office has been organizing numerous of events focused on unemployed people to help them find their way back to the job market. In addition to that, it has also been working hard organizing numerous initiatives and projects to help the younger generation increase their knowledge and potential.
