AstroLabs, a Dubai-based tech startup hub has officially opened its second coworking space yesterday in partnership with US technology firm IBM and Dubai Multi Commodities Centre.
The new coworking space, AstroLabs Dubai Lakeside is located in DMCC’s Jumeirah Lakes right next to the original Parkside location.
With the new expansion, AstroLabs is able to double its capacity to host more startups and entrepreneurs from all around the world. The hub has new desk spaces, nine more meeting rooms, a second cafe, and several lounge areas.
“We decided to expand after seeing the local and international demand for a collaborative coworking community in Dubai. Today we host 130 technology companies run by founders from 38 countries and look forward to welcoming many more,” said AstroLabs Founding Partner, Muhammed Mekki.
AstroLabs is also part of the Google for Entrepreneurs partner network. This enables members to work from over 20 hubs worldwide and engage with Google expert mentors.
