A new app launched in the UAE to improve the healthcare sector

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) launched a new app called ‘SBAR’ which aims to enhance innovation amongst nurses and improve the electronic healthcare services.

The director of Health Information Systems Department at the MOHAP, Mubaraka Ibrahim further explains the functions of the new app, stating that it’s going to decrease the risk of human error. The new app also promotes electronic documentation and digital administrative processing. MOHAP estimates that the new feature would even decrease the direct intervention with patients by 75%. what does this mean? Well, it means that in a year there would be some more time for additional 556,500 hours with patients without any extra staff.
