Layal Saleh has her hands full when it comes to managing the newly opened MILK Concept Store.
“Milk is a Bahraini-born, multi-brand designer fashion and lifestyle concept store,” the Brand Manager of Obai & Hill. “It is carrying contemporary collections of regional brands, featuring upcoming designers and limited edition products. You can find apparel from casual tops, t-shirts, and activewear to dresses, kaftans, and abayas.”
“It is so important to support local and regional designers, and MILK showcases them as a hub where you can find an eclectic mix of design,” explained Layal. “Through MILK, we tell stories of each designer and how their brands came to be. By focusing on regional designers, we are building local artistic ability that will contribute to a more vibrant economy, where it is more sustainable through its reliance on Arab and not Western talent, and cherishes the importance of art and fashion in the national economic spirit.”
