Noon partners up with a multinational e-commerce platform to offer US products to the region

E-commerce platform noon announced on Tuesday that has partnered up with eBay to allow customers in the region purchase products from the US and other parts of the world.

The partnership entails that noon will fulfill all of eBays’ orders made on noon and will deliver the products directly to the customer’s doorstep.

According to noon founder, Mohamed Alabbar, through this partnership, noon is connecting the region with the global e-commerce market. “With this, we are offering our customers access to products that are not otherwise readily available in the region,” he said.

He also adds that because noon is a homegrown Middle Easter brand, they made sure to listen to their customers’ needs and tailor the online retail experience to suit them. ” Our partnership with eBay opens a whole new world of shopping experience,” Alabbar stated.

The partnership will take effect in the second half of 2018 in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia through a dedicated app, and will also be available on mobile and desktop.

And that’s not all yet! What if you purchased something and found out that it’s not the same product you initially ordered? Or if there’s an issue with it? Well, products purchased through noon and shipped overseas can be easily returned back with a full refund option, based on terms and conditions.

Noon mentioned in a statement that part of the partnership also states that both e-commerce platforms will be exploring joint opportunities in marketing, know-how and best practices sharing in a bid to help grow online shopping in the region.

“E-commerce continuously evolves, and this partnership guarantees noon stays on top of the trends and consumer preferences,” Alabbar said.
