In a joint initiative between Bahrain Development Bank and Batelco, Batelco’s Entrepreneur Program launched on the 1st of March, at Riyadat Mall, and will be running every Saturday until the 29th of March. The program aims at developing the business potential of entrepreneurs and others who are interested in starting up their business with a target of the youth segment.
The program is unique and different than other training programs through its approach to highlighting success stories of entrepreneurs, along with the challenges they face. The program includes a series of workshops that focuses on equipping entrepreneurs with the needed tools and knowledge, including: Exercise on business idea generation, Business Model Generation, Business Planning, Marketing, Accounting & Finance, and a workshop that presents the services offered by SME Support Institutions in Bahrain such as Tamkeen, Bahrain Development Bank, and Bahrain Business Incubator Center.
A group of successful entrepreneurs is lined up to talk about their experience, including, Ali Al Marzooq –Photographer, Hasan Haider – CEO Tenmou, Nada Bubshait – Accessories Designer, Mariam Janahi – Gifts Packaging Designer, Ahmed Al Anzoor – Physiotherapist and Amina Al Abbasi – Artist.
