Last Thursday, on February 22nd, a mentoring program for female professionals was launched in Bahrain. The non-profit program is organized by Reach Mentoring and Finmark Communications in partnership with Tamkeen.
The program, which is launched at Seef, will be connecting mentors and mentees across all sectors. The program was initially founded in 2013 by a group of professional women based in Dubai, with the aim of supporting female professionals in finance and related services.
The program was attended by representatives from several entities including National Bank of Bahrain, Zain, Deloitte, Citi Bank, Central Bank of Bahrain, Bahrain Islamic Bank, AXA Insurance and Trust, which will take part in mentoring female entrepreneurs.
Ever since its launch, Reach Mentoring Programme has mentored around 300 women in Dubai and Lebanon. The program provides an online platform for the mentor and mentee to learn and communicate with one another, and the progress is evaluated every three months.
