Reach Mentoring and FinMark Communications are empowering Bahraini women, here’s how

Reach Mentoring, one of the first non-profit organizations that provide mentorship and leadership skills to women in the Middle East, just partnered up with Bahrain-based corporate and financial communications consultancy, FinMark Communications, in order to support and empower professional women in Bahrain.

This partnership was announced at a roundtable discussion on the importance and benefits of structured professional mentorship, which was organized by Tamkeen.

Experts who took part in the discussion include Ahmed Hassan Janahi Manager of Community Engagement, Esam Hammad Senior Manager of Partnerships & Advisory Services, Laudy Lahdo Board Member of Reach, Zahra Taher General Manager of FinMark Communications.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two parties, FinMark Communications will be Reach’s official networking partner in Bahrain with the Strategic Partnership of Tamkeen. This includes the enrolment of mentors and mentees in the Reach mentoring program and facilitating professional networking events.

So how does the Reach program work? The mentors and mentees are paired through an algorithm based online platform that matches the participants based on their interests, goals, objectives, communication styles, development objectives, and personality traits.

Reach Board Member, Laudy Lahdo expressed her excitement to be working with FinMark Communications. “We are delighted to be able to extend our programme in Bahrain through our latest partnership with FinMark Communications, and further the Reach Mentoring mission to support a new generation of female leaders from and for the Middle East,” she said.

Managing Director of FinMark Communications, Zahraa Taher also commented on the partnership stating: “We look forward to extending the Reach programme to women in the corporate world in Bahrain, which in its own right has long been a GCC pioneer for women’s social and economic inclusion and empowerment.”
