The young Bahraini team “Alwani” took part in an pan-Arab contest called “Information and Communication Technology supports future leaders”. The Bahraini representatives won the first place among nine other teams from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, and Tunisia.
The competition was part of the “Youth For Change” program by the Alexandria Library in Egypt and Taking IT Global.
Ahmed Al-Qayyem from Dinar Best team won the top cash prize. The rest of the peers attended workshops on entrepreneurship.
