- The Launch of Tamweel+ a program that offered the private sector with financial support that exceeded one million BD. The portfolio has reached BD120 million through its partnership with a group of local banks in Bahrain
- The Taqdeer Program a one of its kind initiative in the kingdom where it aims to reward enterprises that exceed their targeted number for their Bahraini employees.
- Supported more than 8000 Bahrainis through their basic skills and professional certification program which help them venture into the labor market and improve in their careers.
- The Enterprise Support Program which is a co-financing program that provides financial grants to assist in the growth and development of enterprises. It has provided support to more than 670 organizations from various sectors during their different stages of growth with a total of BD 15.5 million.
- Youth Development Programs which includes the school programs “A9eel” and “Mashroo3i.”
- Business Incubators during the first six months of 2017, Tamkeen supported 35 enterprises, 25 of them were startups and the other 10 were existing enterprises.
- Professional Certification Scheme So far, Tamkeen has supported more than 2,000 Bahraini individuals to obtain professional certificates in various fields. It’s a 19% increase in comparison to last year. Additionally, 66 new professional certificates are added to the program, and the system has been updated to make the procedure more smooth and convenient.
Tamkeen is seriously dedicated towards improving the Bahraini market and its economy and works hard even more towards supporting Bahrainis and bringing their business ideas to life.
