Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) signed an agreement with Uber, whereby customers can book DTM limousines through Uber’s passenger transport services app.
According to the state news agency WAM, The agreement was signed by CEO of Dubai Taxi Corporation, Dr. Yousef Mohammed Al Ali and the General Manager of Uber in the UAE, Christopher Free.
Al Ali said: “The signing of this agreement with Uber for operating Dubai Taxi limousines concurs with the directives of our leadership to transform Dubai into the smartest city in the world. The move can also bring about a quantum shift in the quick offering of limo through pairing passengers with limo chauffeurs by just a click of a button.”
Christopher Free also added that the agreement signed is in line with their objective to “provide reliable, safe and suitable transport” for everyone.
