Saudi Entrepreneur Osama Abdo Launches A New Service Platform!

Technology has been impacting us on a daily life, from the new gadgets and devices being launched on a daily basis, advanced IT services such as cloud computing, e-commerce, faster mobile networks (LTE), to even the digital content that we receive online through our social media apps, whether they’re broadcasts sent by parents telling us that everything is cancerous or even just a cute animal video that makes you feel warm and happy.

So one cannot really be surprised when new service platforms are launched online on a frequent basis. This is why Saudi entrepreneur Osama Abdo launched his own digital platform called Mnassa. It’s created to connect supply and demand in all business categories ranging from cars, clothing, electronics, furniture and more. It enables users to search and request for any products and services they require, it even includes a feature where you can search for events and activities.

According to Abdo, through Mnassa’s aim of closing the gap between supply and demand, this will, in turn, create new opportunities and allow small businesses to grow. It also minimizes restrictions on employees that traditional jobs usually come with, since people can post job opportunities, which allows freelancers to apply and get in touch with the employer.

The website was launched in January 2016, and its mobile application came at a later stage. So far, Mnassa has reached over 10,000 members and exchanged 4,384 services and products. Its funds mainly come from investors but plan on moving to paid subscriptions model once it increases its user base.
