A European Online food takeaway firm Delivery Hero, has agreed to buy Middle East food delivery platform Carriage.
According to Chief Executive Niklas Ostberg, the Kuwait-based Carriage would strengthen Delivery Hero’s foothold within the region with “significant growth potential.”
Some sources mention that Carriage was acquired for more than $200 million.
The Carriage’s team of founders which include Chief Executive Abdullah Jihad Almutawa would remain on board after the acquisition.
